Goliath Footwear was established in 1880 when they first produced boots for navvies, miners, quarrymen and policemen.

 

 

Now, as part of Yakupoglu A.S. it has developed modern state of the art manufacturing facilities for the production of market leading safety footwear.

An in-house laboratory enables teating of all raw materials as well as finished and semi-finished goods. Goliath is an ISO:2008 company and all products are audited and tested by SATRA.


Investment in a Lectra 3D footwear solution for boot design enables experienced R & D staff to rapidly design and develop new products.

Goliath are licensed to produce and sell GORE-TEX lined footwear. These are manufactured in house using the highest quality leathers and materials. All premium GORETEX products are continually tested using patented product techniques to ensure waterproofness and breathability.

Goliath operate 3 alternative lasting processes :
  • Conventional flat lasting
  • Strobel-type force lasting
  • Goodyear Welt lasting

This gives Goliath the flexibility to meet any requirements.


Goliath employ the latest CAD/CAM material cutting machinery and computerised stitching equipment ensuring consistent production quality.

 

Goliath have also invested extensively in 5 alternative sole moulding processes giving the capability to offer :

  • Single density vulcanised rubber (DV)
  • Dual density injected rubber (DDR)
  • Dual density polyurethane (PU)

There is also the option of a rubber or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) wear layer directly injected to the footwear.
